…rare and beautifully detailed scenic burmese lacquered wood box, vintage. the imagery is shown on all sides of the box except for the bottom. the inside is clean and a beautiful burnt orange color. marked handmade in mandalay, myanmar (burma) on bottom.

condition notes: good vintage condition, solid construction and functionality, typical wear with age includes minor chips, there is a superficial crack on the back right corner of the box which seems to be isolated to just the surface. otherwise no major damage.
